Personalize A/B Tests
You can now take advantage of Airship’s personalization features in A/B tests, helping you learn how best to engage with your audience.
Test personalized messages against generic messages to see how you can boost engagement. Try different message lengths to see if shorter or longer messages hold your audience’s attention — like abandoned cart notifications with all items in the cart or just the first item.
Now you can use these features in your A/B tests:
- Templates — Test templates against each other to see which message results in the most audience engagement.
- HandlebarsHandlebars is Airship’s templating language for personalization. Handlebars expressions use double curly braces wrapped around a content template, ranging from a simple variable, e.g.,
{{first_name}}
, to complex evaluations of personalization data. — Try personalizing messages in different ways to determine how best to engage with your audience on a personal level. - External Data FeedsA connection to an external API. When you send a message, Airship uses a response from that API to personalize messages. — Include information from external sources and see how your audience responds!
