Saved Content Blocks in the WYSIWYG Editor

Save blocks in the WYSIWYG editor for reuse in your Airship messages, templates, and preference center web pages.

Saved content blocks are an easy way to create footer or nav bars for emails that you can reuse across templates. You can include a SnippetA reusable piece of content that you can define in Airship for later use in your messages and templates. Snippets support text or HTML content and can be used for commonly used elements such as a copyright, header image, or custom CSS. for information like the copyright date. Update the snippet once a year, and that change will be applied to anywhere the snippet is in use.

In the WYSIWYG editor:

  1. Open an existing or blank layout, then edit.

  2. Select the row you want to save for reuse, then click the Save icon.

  3. Enter identifying information for the block. Both IDs are used for searching for saved blocks.

    • Category — Saved blocks are grouped by category name. You can use this field to assign a unique name to each block if you do not want to organize your blocks by category.
    • Tags — Optional. Separate multiple tags with commas.
  4. Click Save.

When creating or editing content in the WYSIWYG editor, select Blocks in the sidebar to see all your saved blocks. You can filter by category and search by category and tag. Drag any saved block into your layout.
