HMS Support
Airship now supports Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), helping you reach a wider audience of Android users.
HMS support in the Airship platform also marks the first opportunity to reach Android users who are based in China.
We offer the same feature support for HMS as with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), using our APIs and dashboard. When configuring Android in Settings » Channels * Mobile App or Settings » Quickstart Guide, you will now see HMS configuration fields in addition to FCM.
HMS support for Android is available with version 13 of our Android SDK. Follow our documentation to set up HMS for Android:
