mParticle Custom Event Integration

mParticle is a Customer Data Platform (CDP) that aggregates enterprise data across platforms and gathers events relating to users’ activity on your website — including when users add items to their cart or wishlist.

Now you can use that data to send personalized messages from Airship. mParticle’s Server-to-Server (S2S) integration issues custom events to Airship, and you can use these events to trigger automated messages and JourneysA series of messages that is initiated by a trigger. Airship sends messages in the series based on your timing settings, and you can also set conditions that determine its audience and continuation. Sequences can be connected to each other and to other messaging components to create continuous user experiences in a Journey..

You can also use properties from these custom events to personalize messages for your audience to increase engagement and overall conversions. You can use incoming mParticle events to notify a user about a coupon for items they left in their cart or let them know about coupons for items they browsed.
