Edit Wallet Template Details

Edit a template’s name or description, or set a custom ID or the pass sharing policy.

Edit Wallet Template Name or Description

  1. Go to Templates.
  2. Select the template you want to edit. If you have only one template in the project it is already selected and expanded.
  3. Click UPDATE for Name or Description.
  4. Make your changes and click Save.

Set Wallet Template Custom ID

You can enter a custom ID that overrides the template’s auto-generated default ID.

  1. Go to Templates.
  2. Select the template you want to edit. If you have only one template in the project it is already selected and expanded.
  3. Click UPDATE for Custom ID.
  4. Check the box for Use a Custom ID and enter your ID.
  5. Click Save.

Set Wallet Pass Sharing Policy

By default, templates allow pass sharing across users and devices. You can change the sharing policy for templates from the Templates menu for a mobile wallet project.

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet support slightly different sharing settings.

  1. Go to Templates.

  4. Choose a sharing policy and click Save.
